Tom brings
25 years experience in Executive Management, Marketing, Sales, and
Small Business Ownership to his clients. His specialties include
executive coaching, facilitating leadership development groups, marketing
and Internet strategy, business planning, personality/style assessment
tools and group workshops.
He has
managed and owned small businesses, worked as a licensed Registered
Securities Representative, and spent a number of years as a Executive in the insurance industry. During his tenure as Vice President
of Sales and Marketing, the insurance company grew from a local
operation into a national leader. In this capacity, he built a
national sales and distribution organization, created and
managed an in-house advertising department, developed marketing
initiatives and coordinated personnel recruiting and development,
national tradeshows, sales meetings, fund-raising events, as well
as overseeing real estate development. Tom also has experience working
for a regional design and advertising firm providing marketing and
Internet strategy services to their clients.
Tom holds a Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration from Portland State University
and the CPCU, a professional designation from The Insurance Institute
of America. And he is a Senior Fellow in the American Leadership
Forum, an organization dedicated to developing leaders for communities
nationwide.
He is a Board
Director for Northwest Independent Brand Marketing
(Thriftway/Sentry grocery stores) and an advisor to the Board of Western Benefits
Inc.
Tom is past President
for Willamette
Valley Country Club in Canby, Oregon. He gives back to the
community as a participant of Rotary International in
the downtown Lake Oswego Club.
